It turns out there wasn't a sentimental letter in the envelope Sheryl left for Kristen. It was a USB drive on which Sheryl described Leland's morbid backroom. Leland may be many things, but he's not exactly above the law, especially when someone comes knocking on his door with a warrant to search his house. And judging by this whole story, I think Sheryl's envelope to Andy contains information about how Leland drugged and hypnotized him into nearly killing his daughter.
But Leland's arrest doesn't exactly bode well for Kristen. Leland's plan was to get Kristen to raise Timothy with his "dark" and "corrupt" heart. Earlier in the episode, he even sent Leslie to manipulate Kristen into raising the antichrist.
And it looks like he might be about to succeed in his plan after all, because in the finale of Evil Week, the cops and child services show up on Kristen's doorstep. With Leland locked up, Timothy will have to be placed in the system if Kristen doesn't adopt him.

To cope with the loss of their grandmother, they may decide to pester Kristen to bring Timothy home in Evil Season 4 Episode 11. Since Kristen is already worried that her kids will resent her for being away from Sheryl, I think she'll give in if her kids ask her to. Plus, I don't think she wants her biological son, antichrist or not, to enter the system.
